Electric vehicle may sound like a novel techy term, but the first cars were actually powered by electricity. In modern days, while automakers know well about car manufacturing, what major issues of EV are still waiting to be solved? 

Dr. Morris Cohen is the Panasonic Professor of Manufacturing and Logistics in the Operations, Information and Decisions Department, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  He is also Co-Director of Wharton’s Fishman-Davidson Center for Service and Operations Management.
