In April, the output of ternary batteries was 10.3GWh, 35.5% of the total production, an increase of 53.5% year-on-year, and a decrease of 33.9% month-on-month. The output of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 18.6GWh, accounting for 64.3% of the total production, a jump of 200.7% year-on-year, and a month-on-month fall of 21.0%.

China's cumulative output of power batteries from January to April was 129.6GWh, a year-on-year increase of 183.5%. The cumulative output of ternary batteries is 48.3GWh, accounting for 37.4% of the total cumulative output, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 97.2%. The cumulative output of lithium iron phosphate batteries is 81GWh, accounting for 62.6% of the cumulative total, with an incremental year-on-year growth of 283.1%.

In the January to April period, China's cumulative installed volume of power batteries was 64.5GWh, an incremental increase of 104.1% year-on-year. The cumulative loading volume of ternary batteries is 25.7GWh, accounting for 39.8% of the total loading, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 35.4%; the cumulative loading volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries is 38.7GWh, accounting for 60% of the total loading, with an incremental year-on-year increase of 207.5%, showing a rapid growth momentum.

Last month, 34 power battery companies, six less than those in the same period the previous year, fulfilled battery installation in the domestic new energy vehicle (NEV) market.
