China’s crystals and oscillators supplier FAITH LONG Crystal(惠伦晶体) in Dongguan, southern China’s Guangdong Province, announced to set up a subsidiary in South Korea through its subsidiary in Hong Kong with a registered capital of ₩200 million ($139,881).

Founded in 2002 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange GEM in May 2015, FAITH LONG Crystal focuses on the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of new surface-mounted quartz crystals and oscillators used in consumer electronics, intelligent devices, network equipment, industrial equipment, intelligent security, and automotive electronics.

The business scope of the South Korean subsidiary will be sales of electronic components, electromechanical components, and equipment.

FAITH LONG Crystal said the investment, in line with its development plan, will strengthen its marketing system, get familiar with the Korean and overseas markets, serve customer needs more conveniently, and further expand its business scale.

It was learned in its 2022 semi-annual report that the firm’s products had been recognized by clients like Qualcomm, Intel, MediaTek, Airoha, BES, Realtek, ASR, WUQimicro, Ambiq, and Goodix. It is the only company in the Chinese mainland that entered MediaTek’s mobile phone chips reference design list and the first crystal oscillator manufacturer in the Chinese mainland that entered Qualcomm’s automotive-grade chip certification reference design list.
