Chinese PECVD equipment maker Ideal Energy Sunflower (理想万里晖) and Shanghai Electric (上海电气) signed an agreement on establishing the Pan-Semiconductor Industry Innovation Center in late October, according to Shanghai Free Trade Zone Fund.
The center will integrate advantages of the power station groups and automation groups under the two companies in market, technology, and equipment to promote the development of Shanghai's solar energy and pan-semiconductor industries.
Shanghai-based Ideal Energy Sunflower was founded in 2013. It was formerly known as the PECVD Division of solar cell equipment maker Ideal Energy, which was split and restructured as the new company. The company is mainly engaged in solar energy, and high-end PECVD equipment, PVD products and AMOLED display.
