The 2023 China Semiconductor Investment Alliance (CSIA) Annual Meeting & China IC Industry Award Ceremony announced 30 winners of the country's 2022 Best Investment Companies of the Year on December 14.

Among them are:

Suzhou Oriza Holdings(元禾璞华),

Walden International(华登国际),

China Fortune-Tech Capital(中芯聚源),

Xiaomi Industry Investment(小米产投), Inno-Chip(上海韦豪创芯投资),

Wise Road Capital(智路资本),

Sunic Capital(临芯投资) and

Lightspeed China Partners(光速中国).

The “Best Investors of the Year Award” aims to recognize investment companies that have made outstanding achievements and significantly contributed to the development of the IC industry in China. 

The selection criteria are that the companies have extensive layouts and excellent investment performance in the semiconductor field, and the fund management scale is no less than RMB1 billion($143.5 million).

More than 100 member companies of the CSIA and hundreds of CEOs in the IC industry evaluated the shortlisted investment companies from the number of successful exits this year, the scale of funds under management, the number of investment projects, the total amount of investment, and industry influence. 

Other seven announced top investment industry award winners include Best Industrial Investors of the Year, Best Early-Stage Investors of the Year, Best Startup Investors of the Year, Best New Investors of the Year, Best Automotive Electronics Industry Investors of the Year, Best Industry Investors of the Year in Semiconductor Equipment and Materials, and Most Influential National Guidance Fund of the Year.

Since launched three years ago, CSIA Annual Meeting and China's IC Industry Top Award Ceremony have become an influential annual gathering of China’s top semiconductor investors and entrepreneurs. This year's event took place in Hefei, eastern China's Anhui Province on December 17 with JW Insights being a co-organizer.
