Malaysia has been in and out of MCO (Motion Control Order) since last March due to the pandemic, and almost all manufacturers had to close shifts or the whole factory from time to time. This week, JW Insights invited Dato Seri Siew Hai Wong, President of Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA), to talk about how the pandemic has affected Malaysia economy. Dato Seri Wong is also Champion of Electrical & Electronics Productivity Nexus (EEPN), and member of PEMUDAH. He served with Intel for 27 years and was responsible for all assembly test factories worldwide.
