SDMicro（昇显微电子）won the "The Best New Company of the Year" from China Semiconductor Investment Alliance (CSIA) and JW Insights for its achievement in driving chips on December 18 in Beijing.

Established in September 2018, SDMicro is located in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. With its independent intellectual property rights, it focuses on developing the driver IC for AMOLED display screens of smartphones and smart wearables and has passed the ISO9001 quality system certification at the end of 2020.

Since its establishment, the company has stressed R&D and become one of the first companies to have volume-produced driver IC  with the leading 40-nanometer process.

In 2021, SDMicro's shipment exceeded five million pieces and its revenue has increased by more than 50 times over 2020. It expects another big growth in 2022.
