Chinese CPU Company Zhaoxin denied that it has supplied products to Russian motherboard maker and has not authorized testing solutions to any overseas manufacturers, JW Insights has learned.
A spokesperson from Zhaoxin, headquartered in Shanghai, with offices in Beijing and other cities, told JW Insights that “We only focus on Chinese domestic markets and has no oversea expansion plan. We have also sent announcements to our partners to emphasize our said policy again and make sure that they have fully understood it.”
The Russian media Dilato reported on May 12 that Dannie is testing a motherboard based Kaixian CPU for computer use in office, banks and other public service centers after the U.S. giants Intel and AMD suspended sales to Russia.
Zhaoxin was established in 2013 and is a CPU chip provider in China. It has two major product series Kaixian for PCs and Kaisheng for servers, used in desktop, laptop and all-in-one computers as well as cloud terminal, servers and other IoT computing platforms.
