JW Insights released last December the Ranking List of patents by 100 Chinese semiconductor design companies based on their comprehensive patent strength and value.
On this list, OmniVision（韦尔半导体）ranked first with a patent value index of 3276. The 2nd is Goodix（汇顶科技）, the 3rd UNISOC（紫光展锐）.
JW Insights’ evaluation team checked these and their subsidiaries on their various benchmarks including their global patent applications in the categories of invention and utility models.
