HHGrace(华虹宏力), one of the leading foundries in China, staged a commemorative ceremony on July 1 for its cumulative shipment of one million 12-inch wafers and awarded its customers with outstanding contributions.

HHGrace’s fabrication plant, Huahong Wuxi Integrated Circuit R&D and Manufacturing Base, has achieved rapid development since its establishment in August 2017. The first phase production was completed in 17 months, an unprecedented record. Its monthly capacity of 12-inch special process wafers has reached 65,000 pieces. Currently HHGrace is making every effort to expand the first-phase project and planning the second phase.

Zhu Aixun, a key Wuxi City official, said that Huahong Wuxi is the first IC manufacturing project of Huahong Group outside Shanghai. It marks fruitful cooperation between Wuxi city and Huahong Group.

HHGrace is a leading Chinese pure-play foundry that started in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in Pudong, Shanghai. It emerged in 2012 from the merger of the two contract chipmakers Hua Hong NEC Electronics Company and Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation.
