China’s smart projector leader XGIMI enters the offline franchised chain stores in Germany, France and the UK, while selling online in U.S. with great potential

China’s smart projector leader XGIMI Technology (极米科技) has made breakthroughs in Europe by entering into the offline franchised chain stores in Germany, France and the UK, the company said in a recent interview with investors.

XGIMI starts its offline business relatively earlier in Europe and Japan. The company's sales in the U.S. market are mainly online while having much more potential offline market.

Founded in 2013, XGIMI based in Chengdu, southwestern China's Sichuan Province. XGIMI has created a series of game-changing giant screen projection products with partners like Harman/Kardon, Google, and Texas Instruments. It is also a leading laser TV maker.

The company went public on Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2021. In April this year, XGIMI said in its annual performance report that its operating income reached about RMB4.038 billion ($602.07 million) in 2021, surging 42.78% over the previous year

The projector products accounted for 93.73% of the total annual revenue. IDC’s data shows the company’s projector shipments took the lead in China with a 21.2% market share, overtaking the combined shares of the other three brands in the top four.
