China’s leading solar photovoltaic products supplier EGing PV(亿晶光电) said its international shipments were 975MW, a year-on-year increase of 297.13% in the first half of 2022.

The company shared this information on its investor relationship management platform of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on September 26.

Founded in 2003 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in December 2011, EGing PV is based in Changzhou in eastern China’s Jiangsu Province and focuses on developing, manufacturing, and marketing solar photovoltaic products.

Currently, its high-efficiency crystalline silicon cell production capacity is 5GW, and the compatible size is 182mm-210mm. With solid research and development capabilities to reduce costs and increase production, equipment, and processing efficiency, it has formed several technical cores and is in a leading position in the industry.

In the first half of the year, due to the imbalance between supply and demand in the industry chain, the upstream silicon wafer production capacity was in short supply, with rising market prices.

This became an opportunity for EGing PV. Its sales volume increased significantly with reduced production costs of both cells and modules. The gross profit margin jumped by 116% year-on-year, with reduced management and financial expense ratios by nearly 50% and 30% respectively. The company told investors that it will continue to expand its production capacity to increase market shares.
