Thanks to the continuous product upgrades driven by technological advancement, large-screen and mid-to-high-end products are favored by more and more users.
TCL adopted a “TCL and Thunderbird” dual-brand strategy and the further optimization of online and offline sales channels. These resulted in a rapid growth of sales.

The average size of TCL smart screens sold grew by 3.4 inches year-on-year at 48.4 inches, according to the company. The average size sold in China rose from 52.4 inches to 56.9 inches.
In 2022, although TCL smart screen’s shipment in the international market declined slightly due to the impact of weak economic growth, its product sales rebounded in the third and fourth quarters, and the total sales in the second half of the year had a year-on-year growth of 2.6%.
In addition to intelligent screens, TCL Electronics launched a variety of smart eye protection tablets, smartphones, and VR glasses in 2022. Among them, Thunderbird Smart Glasses AirXR won the VR/AR Innovation Award at the 2022 World VR Industry Conference.
The company's total sales of small and medium-sized screens hit 16.44 million units.
