(JW Insights) Mar 22 -- Chinese equipment supplier Thinking Top (成都思越智能) invested RMB3.5 billion ($508.96 million) to set up an intelligent warehouse project for panel display and semiconductor materials in Chengdu, southwestern China's Sichuan Province, announced the company in a commencement ceremony on March 20.
The project is located in Chengdu High Tech Zone, covering an area of about 16,650 square meters. It focuses on the R&D, production, and sales of equipment in automatic material handling systems (AMHS), ultrasonic cleaning (USC), and automated optical inspection (AOI).
It is expected to be completed and put into operation in March 2024.
Thinking Top was founded in 2018 in Chengdu and provides high-end equipment for panel display and semiconductor applications for global customers, according to Tianyancha, a provider of Chinese corporation data and due diligence platform.
