(JW Insights) Mar 27 -- Chinese ODM giant Wingtech (闻泰科技) recently got an order from Samsung for 45 million mobile phones and tablet PCs, which are expected to be delivered in the second half of 2023, reported China Securities Journal on March 24.

The order includes 25 million mobile phones and 20 million tablet PCs, said the report.

Sources in the industry said a listed Chinese ODM manufacturer signed orders with Samsung, and it is believed in the industry that only Wingtech has the strength to get such a large order from Samsung.

Founded in 1993 and listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2016, Wingtech is headquartered in Jiaxing, eastern China’s Zhejiang Province.
