(JW Insights) Apr 6 -- Chinese cloud computing giant Alibaba Cloud officially announced to sign a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Jaguar Land Rover China on April 6 to jointly build an integrated management big data platform for research, production, supply chain, sales and services, reported Pandaily.
According to the agreement, Jaguar Land Rover China will adopt Alibaba Cloud’s globally leading cloud computing technology. Both parties will cooperate in multiple areas such as infrastructure cloudification, digitalization of supply chain and procurement, intelligent marketing, carbon neutrality and peak carbon emissions, compliance research on autonomous driving in China etc.
This collaboration is an important attempt at digital transformation and innovation, which will drive the automotive industry towards a more intelligent, connected and sustainable direction. The partnership between Jaguar Land Rover China and Alibaba Cloud will establish a digital ecosystem, said the Pandaily report on April 6.
Currently, Alibaba Cloud’s “Car Cloud” has served over 70% of Chinese automotive companies, including FAW, SAIC, Geely and Xpeng.
