(JW Insights) Apr 17 -- Precision Surfacing Solutions (PSS), a US-based equipment manufacturer, signed with Suzhou New District (SND) to build an R&D and production base in Suzhou of eastern China's Jiangsu Province on April 14.

PSS and SND organized a signing ceremony for the project, which will manufacture high-end surface precision processing equipment, serving as PSS's primary R&D and production base in China and the Asia-Pacific region.

PSS (formerly Lapmaster Wolters Group) is a global supplier of equipment and services for precision grinding, lapping, polishing, and deburring. It is a key player in the field of precision double-sided polishing of 12-inch silicon wafers with industry-leading technical advantages, according to its website.
