Continental and Horizon Robotics joint venture delivers camera solutions for Changan Automobile

(JW Insights) Apr 23 -- Continental Xinzhijia (大陆芯智驾), a joint venture between German auto parts giant Continental and Horizon Robotics -- a Chinese autonomous driving chip company, delivered 8-megapixel smart front-view vehicle cameras for all-in-one device in March, JW Insights learned.

The device is used in the Deep Blue SL03 model by Changan Automobile.

The device integrates the chips by Horizon Robotics and is based on different road scenarios and needs in China. The product provides stable and accurate visual perception and intelligent driving decision-making control, according to the company.

It can create 1VXR (1 camera, multiple radars) experience and will support going to other overseas markets.

The joint venture Continental Xinzhijia was set up in January 2022 in Shanghai, providing hardware and software integrated solutions for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and automated driving.
