(JW Insights) May 23 -- China's accelerated server market was $6.7 billion in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 24%, and will reach $16.4 billion in 2027, showed the recent data from market research firm IDC.
In 2022, GPU servers accounted for 89% of the total market share of accelerated servers in China, reaching $6 billion.
Non-GPU accelerated servers accounted for the remaining 11% at a year-on-year growth rate of 12%, reaching $700 million.
By vendor sales, Inspur (浪潮), H3C (新华三), and Nettrix (宁畅) ranked among the top three in 2022 in China, accounting for more than 60% of the market share.
By server shipments, Inspur, Kunqian (坤前), and Nettrix ranked among the top three in the Chinese market of accelerated servers, accounting for nearly 60% of the market share, said IDC.
By industry, the Internet is still the largest buyer in China in 2022, accounting for nearly half of the overall accelerated server market. Services, telecommunications, manufacturing, and education industries have all increased by more than 50% yearly.
