(JW Insights) Sep 13 -- Chinese electronics giant TCL Technology is expected to use Mini LED in small-sized electronic products after costs from chip manufacturing to final product reach a more favorable state, the company informed its investor platform of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on September 11.

Currently, the company mainly focuses on Micro LED for large screens. But it has already invested in the Mini LED technology, having established an ecosystem throughout the upstream and downstream industry chain in the field of Mini LED, said TCL.

The company also mentioned that its OLED business has been making continuous progress in optimizing customer and product structure. It has made significant breakthroughs in acquiring new customers and increasing the proportion of mid-to-high-end products.

The optimization of customer structure and the upgrading of mid-to-high-end products will help the company further enhance the market share of its OLED business. Additionally, the company is actively expanding applications of medium-sized OLED, said the company.

Founded in 1981 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2004, TCL Electronics is headquartered in Huizhou, southern China’s Guangdong Province. It is a leading global tech brand in display panels, TVs, home comfort and mobile devices and has products and services in 160+ countries, according to its website.
