According to Southeast University, the project has combined the dual advantages of high bandwidth and large capacity of optical fiber communication and portable and flexible access of terahertz wireless communication, which can significantly lower the threshold of 6G R&D and accelerate the commercialization of terahertz technology.
The research work has received support from the National Key R&D Project and Peng Cheng Laboratory and was mainly completed by professors and doctors from Southeast University, Fudan University, and Purple Mountain Laboratories.
Founded in 1902, Southeast University is best known for its facility and research in electronics, information technology, and communication engineering.
