Sensata Technologies, a leading U.S. sensor provider, will establish a manufacturing and R&D center in Changzhou City, eastern China's Jiangsu Province. It signed an agreement with the Changzhou High-tech Zone on May 16 for the project.

According to Changzhou High-tech Zone, this is the third time Sensata Technologies increased its investment in the city. The center is expected to expand the R&D team and manufacturing capacity, adopting intelligent production lines.
Sensata Technologies Group was founded in 1916. It now supplies sensing, electrical protection, control and power management solutions with business operations in 13 countries.
In 2004, the company set up its Changzhou operation, producing electronic components and special electronic equipment including sensitive components, sensors, and frequency control devices.
