The Analysts Conference at the 6th JiWei Semiconductor Summit took place on July 15 in the coastal Xiamen city of Fujian Province. Leading analysts and researchers from Counterpoint, S&P Global, Strategy Analytics, Omdia and Future Horizons delivered their presentations mostly online to packed conference halls with their unique insights and actionable intelligence.
P1. Jon Peddie, President of Jon Peddie Research, shared his views on 2022 Global and Chinese GPU market.
P2. Daryl Lim, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation at the Law School of The Pennsylvania State University, delivered a speech on "Semiconductor M&A and IP Protection under the Pandemic"
P3. Dale Gai, Director of Research at Counterpoint, gave a speech on “Has the semiconductor boom reached a downward point?”
P4. He Hui, principal analyst at Omdia Semiconductor, analyzed supply and demand trend of semiconductors from the perspective of the entire technology industry
P5. Charles Reed Anderson, Head of Mobility, Telecoms & IoT, IDC Asia/Pacific, shared his opinions on smart & sustainable space and the trend of technological development in the post-epidemic era.
P6. Ethan Qi, associate director of research at Counterpoint, shared his views on China smartphone market dynamics.
P7. The panel discussion on “Semiconductor supply chain changes under the Covid-19 epidemic” .
P8. Zhao Yi, JW Insights’ Consulting Research Director, shared his views on the prospect of China’s RF front-end device industry.
The 6th JiWei Semiconductor Summit(JWSS) held on July 15-16 is the annual event by China Semiconductor Investment Alliance (CSIA) and JW Insights. With its aim to create a high-standard, high-level, high-threshold industry summit, JWSS has become an influential platform for exchanging industry insights and seeking capital and resources. It has attracted the attendance by a growing number of IC companies, investment institutions, national and local government officials, and professors and officers of relevant universities and colleges.
