Chinese semiconductor conglomerate Tsinghua Unigroup announced on November 4 that its subsidiary acquired a majority stake in Sweden's Nile Group which provides functional prints to customers in the medical industry and offers a portfolio of products and services, including medical devices, RFID solutions, printed electronics, and security solutions.
Founded in 1988 and originating as an affiliated business of China's prestigious Tsinghua University, Tsinghua Unigroup is a state-owned Chinese semiconductor manufacturer that also supplies semiconductors and services. It completed its bankruptcy reorganization this July. This is its first public acquisition after the reorganization, indicating its entry into smart medical care.
