China's IC design startup Analogy Semi (类比半导体) is one of the 10 companies that won "The Best New Company of the Year Award" for its outstanding products and innovative capacities at the 2023 China Semiconductor Investment Alliance (CSIA) Annual Meeting & China IC Top Award Ceremony held on December 17 in Hefei, eastern China's Anhui Province.

With its technical advantage and innovation capability, Analogy Semi launched several new products in 2022, covering analog front-end (AFE), linear products, power management, and data converter, which have been highly accepted by customers, according to the award announcement.

Its lithium battery AFE products, for example, achieved the design win with most customers in this market segment in 2022. Analogy Semi's AFE chip served companies including CATL (宁德时代), EVE Energy (亿纬锂能), and LG, among others.

Meanwhile, the company also released the automotive-grade intelligent driver DR70xQ chips that are widely used in cars, electronic parking brake (EPB), and other systems. This product achieved a domestic breakthrough and addressed the shortage of automotive chips in China.

Founded in 2018, the Shanghai-based IC designer Analogy Semi mainly involves in analog & mix-signal chip design in signal chain, power management, and MCU/DSP for industrial, communication, medical, and automotive markets.

The Best New Company of the Year Award is designed to recognize top emerging Chinese companies in semiconductor industry with key technologies and strong innovative capabilities. A total of 10 companies won the award this year.

Reviewed by over 100 members from CSIA and hundreds of CEO in the semiconductor industry, other winners include VEIGLO (威固信息), Gona Semi (果纳半导体), and Sengo IC (芯歌智能).
