Voyah (岚图汽车), the premium new energy vehicle brand of China’s Dongfeng Motor, started delivering its FREE pure electric SUV to customers in Norway priced at $73,200, it announced on December 28.
The first batch of 500 FREE arrived in Oslo, Norway at the end of November, and 136 vehicles have been delivered so far. The owners are located in Oslo, Trondheim, Hamar, and Sarpsborg.
As Voyah’s first model in Europe, Voyah FREE has been customized according to local regulations and customer demands. It only takes 4.4 seconds to go from 0 to 100kph, and the WLTP range is 500 kilometers.
Founded in 2018, Voyah is based in Wuhan of central China’s Hubei Province, belonging to its parent company Dongfeng Motor. In 2020, Dongfeng Motor launched the brands Voyah and Voyah FREE, moving into the electric vehicle market.
In June 2022, Voyah opened its first European showroom, Voyah Space, in Oslo, Norway. In November, its first overseas flagship store opened in Trondheim, the third largest city in the country, to further boost brand influence in Norway.
Norway is Voyah's first stop in the international market. The company also plans to enter Israel, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Denmark starting in 2023 with more stores and model lineup.
