The 54th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation(CETC54, 中国电科网络通信研究院), a telecommunications research institute, announced that it delivered self-developed ultra-high frequency(UHF) radio frequency identification(RFID) chips to its customers recently, JW Insights reported on January 6.
This chip is the first RFID chip in China that fully complies with specific standards. It has been successfully applied in the signage system to provide security for personal information identification and related information storage.
The chip has a large number of original technological innovations in baseband, radio frequency, and memory. It has achieved greater improvements in sensitivity, reliability, and other indicators compared with similar products, according to CETC54.
