Chinese auto chip developer Genesys Microelectronics (复睿微电子) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) in northwestern China’s Shaanxi Province on January 10 to build a science and education integrated innovation institute on massive computing power chips, JW Insights learned.
They aim to cultivate a group of world-class needed talents, promote innovative scientific and technological achievements and their industrialization of massive computing power chips
Founded in 2022, Shanghai-based Genesys is an EV cockpit and autonomous driving chipset solution provider funded by Shanghai-based Fosun Group, a Fortune Global 500 company.
The company focuses on automotive electronics, artificial intelligence, and general computing, offering mart cockpit and ADS/ADAS chips with leading chip design capabilities and artificial intelligence algorithms.
Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) in Xi’an of Shaanxi Province is the leading university with strong microelectronics faculty in western China.
