(JW Insights) Mar 21 -- Chinese high-power diode laser components supplier Focuslight (炬光科技) claims that it is the only domestic producer of homogenizers, facing multiple international competitors. The company responded to questions on this in its investor relationship management platform of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on March 20.

Homogenizers are the core laser optical components in lithography machines for semiconductor applications. Focuslight has been providing the component since 2007.

Well-known companies in Europe and America, such as Suess MicroTec and Jenoptik in Germany, are competitors of the company in homogenizers, and there is currently no Chinese competitor for this product, said the company in the announcement.

Headquartered in Xi’an of northwestern China’s Shaanxi Province, Focuslight was founded in 2007 and became listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2021. It develops and manufactures high-power diode laser components and materials, laser optics, photonic application modules, assemblies, and subsystems with a focus on automotive, pan-semiconductor, and medical & health application solutions.
