(JW Insights) May 23 -- Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao chaired a group meeting with several representatives from US companies operating in Shanghai to learn about their operation on May 22. He said that China will continue to welcome US companies to develop in China and achieve win-win results based on mutual respect and benefit.
“The Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) will continue to provide accurate and efficient services and support to foreign-funded enterprises and projects, sharing the benefits of China's huge market and opening-up with companies from all countries,” Wang said.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and representatives from Merck, Honeywell, 3M and other US companies attended the meeting. They expressed their optimism about the development prospects of the Chinese market and their willingness to further deepen their engagement in the Chinese market.
