(JW Insights) Jul 4 -- Beijing municipal government departments have taken the lead in initiating a first-of-kind program to stimulate AIGC development in the city called "Beijing AIGC Industry Innovation Partnership."

The program aims to build an open cooperation platform for large AI models, establish a collaborative mechanism, and cultivate a group of benchmark enterprises that seek breakthroughs through the large model technology. It was announced at the AI Summit of the Global Digital Economy Conference 2023 held in Beijing on July 2.

Ten cooperation projects of innovation partners were signed at the summit, empowering traditional businesses with large model technologies.

There were announcements on the first batch of high-quality data sets for large AI model development, including 18 high-quality training data sets from 10 companies and institutions. Among them are People's Daily Corpus Data Set and National Laws and Regulations Corpus Data Set, covering economy, politics, culture, society, and ecology with a total scale of more than 500T.

The Beijing Municipal Administration of Government Services released the country's first large model for government services at the summit. It covers government consultation, intelligent Q&A, and intelligent search, setting examples in exploring large model applications in government management.

JW Insights’ AIGC project - JiweiGPT under development is among the projects signed at the summit. It will be a large model product for the ICT industry, leveraging its massive collection of data and information on national policies, investment and financing, and analysis reports. It will be used for media content generation, copywriting, intelligent Q&A systems, intelligent customer service, text-to-image, and text-to-video.

In addition, the summit announced the second batch of 63 companies selected for the innovation partner program in Beijing’s general AI Industry, including Baidu and Beijing AI Park.
