(JW Insights) Jul 17 -- Southeast University from eastern China’s Jiangsu Province won first place for the second time in the FPGA field of System Design Contest in the 60th Design Automation Conference (DAC) held in San Francisco from July 9 to 13.
The DAC System Design Contest is the highest-level competition in AI-accelerated microsystem design in academia and industry.
This year's competition was more intense. Its multi-target detection task has stricter algorithm requirements for participating teams.
After competing with top teams from more than 40 organizations worldwide, the SEUer team from Southeast University is far ahead of others with its F1 recognition accuracy of 0.504 and high-quality performance of 480fps.
Its Chinese team members are doctoral students Zhang Jingwei and Shen Chaoyao and master degree students Cui Zenan and Cao Xinye. Their coaching professors are Yang Jun and Zhang Meng.
