(JW Insights) Aug 15 -- China's integrated circuits (IC) output increased 4.1% year-on-year to 29.2 billion units in July, according to data released by the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on August 15.
China's IC output reached 191.2 billion from January to July in 2023, down by 3.9%, said the NBS data.
The added value of industries above the designated size increased by 3.7% yearly and 0.01% monthly. The data rose 3.8% year on year during the first seven months of 2023.
Among 41 industries in China, the added value of 23 sectors increased in July. The automobile manufacturing industry increased by 6.2%, and the computer, communication, and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry increased by 0.7%, showed the NBS data.
