(JW Insights) Aug 18 -- Quanzhou University of Information Engineering (QUIE泉州信息工程学院) in southeastern China's Fujian Province was approved by local government recently to establish the School of Integrated Circuit Modern Industry.
The IC school is jointly established by QUIE, Jinjiang IC Industrial Park and several companies in the park. The school will focus on training new generation of IT talents in IC design, packaging and testing, and chip diagnostic technology.
A total of 13 modern industry school projects were approved at the same time including Fuzhou University Microelectronics Industry School, Huaqiao University Internet of Things Industry School, Jimei University Digital Industry College, according to the Fujian Education Department.
