(JW Insights) Sep 1 -- Microsoft’s new office project in Suzhou, eastern China’s Jiangsu Province, has been completed recently.
The project is located in SISPARK(Suzhou International Science Park), with a total area of 4.1446 hectares and a construction area of 34,000 square meters. It aims to create a comprehensive office building that integrates quality, openness, and creativity, further enhancing the functions of Microsoft Suzhou’s headquarters.
Microsoft Suzhou has become Microsoft’s fastest-growing R&D institution overseas. Currently, there are over 2,500 research personnel at SISPARK.
Microsoft (Asia) Internet Engineering Institute Suzhou Branch moved into the SISPARK in 2013. It has hundreds of international researchers from over ten countries, such as the US, the UK, and India. It also houses a Microsoft machine learning team. The well-known Microsoft AI-powered virtual assistants Cortana and Xiaoice originated from this center and have since gained global recognition, according to the Suzhou Industrial Park.
