(JW Insights) Sep 20 -- Ronbay Technology (容百科技), China’s leading lithium battery material supplier, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Japanese and South Korean clients to supply them with high-nickel cathode materials, the company informed its investor platform of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on September 19.
They plan to purchase kiloton-level high-nickel cathode materials from Ronbay each month starting from 2024. From 2025 to 2027, the cumulative amount will exceed 100,000 tons. The products will be produced and supplied by the company's factory in Chungju, South Korea.
Founded in 2014 and based in Ningbo, eastern China's Zhejiang Province, Ronbay was listed on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2019. It was built by two teams from China and South Korea and focuses on lithium battery cathode materials.
In recent years, the company has gradually expanded its overseas market and focused on developing major clients in Europe, America, Japan, and South Korea. It will carry out various marketing activities in overseas markets including setting up overseas offices and recruiting international client development managers, said the company.
