More than 50 IC companies were included on the list of China’s 2021 Top 500 New Economy Enterprises released at a press conference by the China Enterprise Evaluation Association (CEEA) in Xi’an on July 23. 

IC companies that have made into the list include   SMIC(中芯国际), Maxscend Technology(卓胜微), Goertek(歌尔股份), GigaDevice(兆易创新), Wingtech(闻泰科技), CR Micro(华润微), Goodix(汇顶科技) and JCET(长电科技) are included in the list, said the association. 

The 500 company list is topped by Tencent, Alibaba and ByteDance. But more than one-third of the companies listed in 2020 failed to get listed last year. 

There are 314 companies engaged in advanced manufacturing last year, an increase of 58 over the previous year, according to CEEA,
