(JW Insights) Apr 13 -- China Electronics Corporation (CEC), one of the leading state-owned conglomerates, set up a wholly-owned subsidiary for AI and big data on April 12, learned JW Insights from Tianyancha, a provider of Chinese corporation data and due diligence platform.
The new company is located in Shenzhen, southern China’s Guangdong Province, with a registered capital of RMB 3 billion (US$436 million). Its business scope includes data processing, storage support, big data, and AI software development, showed Tianyancha.
Founded in 1989, CEC takes cyberspace security and informatization as its core business, including computer CPU chips and operating systems.
