(JW Insights) Jun 15 -- The iPhone 15 series has completed trial production at Foxconn and will be mass-produced at Foxconn in Zhengzhou before the end of this month, Taiwanese web media reported.
Earlier, there were rumors of some production obstacles with the 48 million pixels main camera lens of the iPhone 15/15 Plus, which may delay its launch. Fortunately, it has now been resolved, said a Pandaily report on June 13.
Additionally, Apple has set a considerable stocking target of 85-90 million units, with the Pro series accounting for the highest proportion. Foxconn has also increased signing bonuses for new employees to meet production and supply needs.
In addition to Foxconn, Luxshare Precision(立讯精密) will serve as the second iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max supplier. This move aims to achieve supply chain diversification and avoid unnecessary interruptions, said the Pandaily report.
